Swabhiman is a pioneer in cross-disability, rights-based advocacy in Eastern India. It is a leader in Odisha in protecting the rights of the disabled and empowering them towards full citizenship. It is committed to building an inclusive state and nation. Swabhiman's Internship Programme offers a wide range of opportunities for graduate and postgraduate students to gain insight into disability, diversity and inclusion while enriching their knowledge and experience in the field of human rights.
We are seeking a full-time Intern to work remotely and research disability-specific contents for us. The internship will be on unpaid basis.

Minimum Eligibility Condition

Graduate on Undergraduate.

Good English language skills in terms of grammar and style

Excellent attention to detail
-
The ability to meet deadlines, work independently and manage time effectively

Understanding of disability terminology and details.
Job duties will include, but not be limited to:

Browse the internet for research reports, academic papers, publications, media articles and government/development organizations/NGO documents.

Read content and catalogue as per guidelines provided.

Website Management.
-
Work under the direct supervision and approvals of the CEO.
Time Period
-
The project period is three months for three topics.
Age
-
The age of the candidate should not be more than 21 years
Attendance
-
While doing internship in Swabhiman, the candidate should have a minimum of 75% attendance and they have to mark In and Out time on daily basis. In case of less than 75% attendance no extension of internship period is allowed and no experience certificate will be issued. The attendance record and the details of work supervision shall be maintained by the Heads of the authority.
